Suman Devathiya is a seasoned social activist with over two decades of experience advancing gender and caste equity. At Aagaz Foundation Trust in Jaipur, she leads initiatives that promote community empowerment, access to education, and advocacy for marginalized populations.
Rooted in an intersectional feminist framework, Suman’s work centers on capacity building for Dalit and marginalized women and girls. She has extensive expertise in policy advocacy and legal literacy, with deep knowledge of caste- and gender-based violence laws, including the SC/ST Act and the Domestic Violence Act.
Through grassroots organizing, work with civil society, and feminist movement building, Suman supports women and girls to speak up, take leadership, and help shape a fairer society.
